Shreve Stree. Santa every night for pictures with the kids, Bonsema displays, Live Music, Cookies to decorate, candy canes.  All the historic houses lit up for Christmas.

Nothing But the Blues Happy Hour is at the Punta Gorda Woman's Club on Friday, December 1 4 to 8 p.m. Blues entertainment, dancing, southern dishes to sample, "hooch" and more.  Benefit for the Blanchard House. $25 donation.

The Lighting of Fisherman's Village is November 18th, 5:30 p.m., with over one million lights and themed decorations.

Celebration of Jim Morris and His Music August 27 at Tiki Lawn Sheraton

On Saturday, August 27, starting at 12:30 p.m. a "Celebration of Jim Morris and His Music" will take place on the lawn at the Tikibar at the Four Points Sheraton in Punta Gorda.   Cash bar and food available.  Morris, died from a ruptured brain aneurysm last month.
